ALMA AZUL (‘blue soul’ in Spanish) was born in the Spanish Desert of Almería, where our Chardonnay grapes endure extreme climate conditions. Its elegant blue color is a tribute to Mediterranean lifestyle, celebrating the present and honoring tradition.

ALMA AZUL still is made of grapes 100% Chardonnay, with 11% alcohol volume and packed in glass bottles of 75cl.
It combines perfectly with most Mediterranean Diet meals like tapas, cheese, fish, seafood, white meat, pasta, paella…
Grape variety: Chardonnay 100%
Tasting: elegant blue colour with sweet fragances of pineapple, raspberry and passion fruit. With its own personality, fresh and sweet at the same time, easy to drink.
Production: harvest of the year, macerated with extracts of grape skin, cherry, raspberry and passion fruit.
Climate: continental extreme with long and cold winters, warm and dry summers with a large temperature contrast between day and night, and short autums and springs.
ALMA AZUL sparkling is made with a selection of the best Chardonnay and Garnacha grapes combined with a lot of fine bubbles, with 9.5% alcohol volume and packed in elegant glass bottles of 75cl.
We hope that our blue bubbles will convince the most exclusive wine lovers, and it’s an excellent option for your aperitifs, cocktails, celebrations and snack-time. Best to serve between 6ºC – 8ºC.
Grape variety: Chardonnay and Garnacha grapes
Tasting: atractive blue colour, clean and shinny. Intense fragances to various Mediterranean fruits. Dry fruity sensation, fine and abundant bubbles, fresh and sparkling.
Production: 4 hours of maceration to fully capture the aromas. Light pressing. Fermentation at 12ºC in stainless steel tanks. All grape musts that build our wines are tested and sorted. After a second fermentation takes place in isobar deposits to capture our blue bubbles, and finally is bottled.
WHY IS IT BLUE?
The BLUE colour reminds us to the Mediterranean Sea, culture and gastronomy. Made with grapes Chardonnay, ALMA AZUL owes its elegant blue colour to a natural pigment called Anthocyanin found in the grapes skin, which is completely harmless for human consumption and commonly used as a food additive and source for antioxidants.
