Spain is an ancient wine-producing country that vies with France and Italy as the number-one wine producer in the world. Spain’s wine heritage is at least three thousand years old; vineyards in today’s Sherry region were planted by the Phoenicians around 1,100 BC. Wines from vines grown along the sunny Mediterranean coast and the cooler Atlantic coast were traded and consumed by the Romans.

A mutually beneficial commercial partnership was signed today between CASA DE ALBA and MX2 GLOBAL.
With this agreement, MX2 GLOBAL becomes a mandated global exporter of CASA DE ALBA fine foods brand. The partnership started during the 30th Edition of the ‘SALON GOURMET’ celebrated in Madrid, on April 2016.

sented Spanish brand of organic extra virgin olive oil ‘OLV’ has been granted with another international award. This time, OLV has been chosen by the consumers as the 5th-Best Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil at BIOFACH 2014. 
BIOFACH is one of the most important awards within the organic olive oils arena, and OLV was ranked first among more than 100 olive oils from all over the world. An important characteristic of BIOFACH is that the winners are selected directly by the consumers. Back in April 2013, OLV was awarded with the Gold Medal at Los Angeles International Olive Oil Competition, considering OLV as the best medium organic EVOO in the Northern Hemisphere. MX2 GLOBAL and OLV will jointly attend BIOFACH 2014 in Baltimore (US) during the month of September 2014.
